A Brighter future

Pain drains you. It saps your energy and can rob you of so many things – from physical and emotional wellbeing to sleep and a social life. And trying to build a successful career is hard enough without adding physical pain into the mix. I know, I’ve been there. 

I used to be a writer and director but back pain meant long days writing at the computer and 12 hour days on a shoot became impossible. Then I discovered the central role the mind and brain play in chronic pain. At first I didn’t really believe it but the more I researched it, the more I understood it, the more baffled I was that treatment options weren’t widely available – and the more convinced I became that it was time to change careers. After seeing the difference Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy could make to chronic pain, setting up a pain clinic was a no-brainer.

I know it can take time to really accept that you can use your brain to overcome pain but wherever you are on that journey the FADE Pain Clinic is here to help.
